Miniminagghi is a blend of tradition and innovation, where circus art meets Sicilian culture. Born from a 2021 research and creation residency, the project brings together acrobat Salvatore Cappello and director Pablo Volo as they explore the island's deep-rooted heritage, from the medieval troubadours to the modern cantastori (storytellers). In a journey through legends, riddles, and heroic deeds, Miniminagghi revives the ancient art of storytelling, much like the lively squares of Sicilian villages once did. An acrobat-storyteller, rooted in tradition, transforms circus into a language that captivates and entertains, creating a unique bridge between the past and the present.
